Statement of Belief
Our Mission
What we believe
The following statements
will acquaint the reader with Joppa Gospel Tabernacle and Kinship Ministries:
We believe that Christianity is
a way of life--a way of living seven days a week. We are dedicated to teaching and
demonstrating God's righteous principles to all who fellowship with us.
We believe in the infallibility
of God's word; therefore we accept it as the final authority over all things that pertain
unto life and godliness.
Our ministry is an independent ministry;
therefore we are not subject to rules or restrictions as set forth by any religious
denomination. This liberty enables our pastors to proclaim the truth of God as the Holy
Spirit reveals it to them. Our loyalty is to God's word and not the traditions of men.
Our minstry embraces men and
women of every conceivable religous background, who have associtated themselves with this
ministry because of their hunger for God's truth. We welcome all who are searching.
We believe that the resurrection
power of Jesus Christ is available to all who desire to know God and walk obediently with
Him. We believe that God forgives sin and heals both physical and mental sickness. It is
our desire that all will experience God's indwelling presence in their lives.
We believe and proclaim the
absolute sovereignty of God who has a definite plan for all His creation and who is even
now working out all things according to His good pleasure.
We believe that God has a plan
for all the nations. Although there are many discouraging situations surrounding us today,
we have great hope in America's future.
